D.K: In 50 Kaliber Films the web is just about the most exciting thing we think that has happened to this industry in a long, long, long time, maybe ever. It’s the first time in history that you can do mass communications for very little cost. Previously if you wanted to communicate to your shareholders or your customers or any stakeholders, internal people, external people you had to do it via the DVD, or you had to email out a low res file which is very hard to see, with the web you can actually upload films and people can download them and watch them in real time. This is why the web is so amazing because you can communicate to these people in a mass audience way for virtually no cost. Especially when you compare it to the days of television when you had to buy airtime for a TVC which is very, very expensive. The web enables you to do this very, very low cost and that’s why it’s so exciting to be involved in this part of the industry.
